LAMB OF GOD Frontman Interviewed By ROCK SOUND TV

August 5, 2009

Rock Sound TV conducted an interview with vocalist Randy Blythe of Richmond, Virginia metallers LAMB OF GOD at the Sonisphere festival, which was held on August 1-2, 2009 at the legendary Knebworth Park, United Kingdom. Watch the four-minute chat below.

LAMB OF GOD, GWAR and JOB FOR A COWBOY are teaming up for a tour of the U.S. this fall. The dates are being scheduled on "off" days during LAMB OF GOD's tour with METALLICA, which will kick off on September 14 in Nashville and conclude on November 15 in New York City.

As previously reported, LAMB OF GOD guitarist Mark Morton did not perform with the band at the last six shows of the group's European tour as his wife was expecting a baby.

UNEARTH six-stringer Buz McGrath filled in for Morton on these dates, which included an appearance at Sonisphere.

LAMB OF GOD's new album, "Wrath", has sold more than 165,000 copies in the United States since its February 24 release, according to Nielsen SoundScan.

"Wrath" was produced by Josh Wilbur and was recorded in studios in New York, Virginia, and New Hampshire.

The "Wrath" album was released in four configurations: an LP, a CD, a deluxe-edition CD with bonus disc — which contains isolated recording parts — as well as a super-deluxe version featuring a limited-edition box containing an LP, deluxe-edition CD and USB drive containing two exclusive bonus tracks.
